A LETTER FROM THE BOARD PRESIDENT
On behalf of the HPCC board, I thank you for your ongoing support of hospice and palliative care by seeking and maintaining certification. I remain excited about the future of hospice and palliative certification, and I know patients and families appreciate the high degree of professionalism and dedication that our certificants demonstrate every day.
Join us for a complimentary HPCC Certification Luncheon, sponsored by PSI, on March 21, 2024, at the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care in Phoenix, AZ.
MULTIYEAR DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION, AND BELONGING (DEIB) STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
HPCC understands the importance of evaluating our data to explore possible variances associated with race, ethnicity, and gender. To accomplish this, the organization recently launched a performance analysis of its certification exams. The organization purposefully sought data that compared pass rates across genders, ethnicities, and racial groups over the past three years to detect potential disparities. This work resulted in a comprehensive report on pass rates produced by HPCC’s testing vendor, PSI.
