Four Seasons is a nationally recognized, award-winning, nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider in Western North Carolina. Founded in 1979 by a group of local volunteers who wanted to make a difference in their community, Four Seasons began a legacy of dedication to quality end-of-life care to anyone in need.

As a result of innovative thought leaders and a progressive board of directors, Four Seasons added a Palliative Care program in 2003. Under the leadership of then President and CEO Chris Comeaux, Janet Bull, MD, MBA, FAAHPM- Chief Medical Officer Emerita- and John Morris, MD, FAAHPM were instrumental in bringing this care to Western North Carolina.

Four Seasons has never been an organization to “think small.” In 2017, Four Seasons continued to innovate care through collaborating with other hospices to create Teleios Collaborative Network (TCN). This organization empowers, educates, and guides member nonprofit hospices to thrive.

Today, Four Seasons serves 14 counties in Western North Carolina. Their main services are hospice and palliative care, but it also provides a variety of support services including Care Navigation, Home Care, Grief Services, Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care, and Veteran Care. Four Seasons also supports patients and families with Clinical Social Workers, Chaplains, and Music Therapists.

Four Seasons is proud to have been nationally and regionally recognized for their quality care.
