Executive Leadership

John Mastrojohn III, RN, MSN, MBA, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Hospice of the Western Reserve teaches us how to translate your clinical skills to leadership skills and how to navigate change. He also explains the importance of communicating your passion for our specialty.

Erica Frechman, PhD, AGPCNP-BC, ACHPN, NEA-BC, chief advance practice provider at Atrium Health and leader of an interdisciplinary palliative care team explores the opportunities for leadership in hospice and palliative care and the importance of not only leading others, but also leading yourself. She discusses leadership styles and the importance of self-reflection in leadership growth.

Lyn Ceronsky, DNP, GNP, FPCN director of a system wide palliative care program for 15 years and leader of CAPC Palliative Care Leadership Center provides information on the steps, challenges, and opportunities involved with starting a palliative care program.
