The Situational Judgment Exercise (SJE) is a required component of the recertification process for the ACHPN® and CHPN® certificant and is designed to offer the certificant an opportunity to experience a realistic situation that could be encountered in practice. While you complete the recertification process through the LearningBuilder platform, the SJE is available through PSI.

Recently, the process for accessing and purchasing the SJE has changed. Moving forward, all authorized test takers will have a PSI account created on their behalf using the email address on record with HPCC. Do not create your own account. The first time logging in, you will need to use your email address and a temporary password (Temporary123). You may update your password once you log in. If your email address has changed and does not match what is on file, please contact HPCC. If you previously created an account with PSI, that password will no longer work. Please proceed with the temporary password as if you have never logged in before. After logging in, you will be able to select which SJE you need to purchase. With the new system, there is no chance of purchasing the wrong SJE, you will only have access to the one specific to your credentials.

To Sign In:

  • To sign into your account, go to: https://www.psionlinestore.com/hpcc
    (if the site does not load, please try clearing your cache/cookies).
  • Choose ‘Sign In or Register’ in the top right corner of the page.
  • Enter the email address on file with HPCC and your temporary password Temporary123 (password is case sensitive).
  • Once you are successfully signed in, you will be returned to the HPCC page, and where you previously saw “Sign In or Register’ in the top right corner, you will now see ‘My Account or Logout’.

To purchase:

  • You have successfully signed in, please click on ‘Step 2: Select Your SJE’.
  • Choose the ACHPN® or CHPN® SJE
  • If you are authorized to take the SJE, you will be directed to the SJE’s product page, where you can add the SJE to your cart.
  • Check out the items in your cart to complete the purchase.
