The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC's) Commission on Accreditation under Provider number P0284. 

Successful conference session completion awards the RN participant 6.0 NCPD credit hours (60 minutes per credit hour) in blended activity format. Attendees must attend the session in its entirety, attest to attendance at the time of the evaluation, and complete/submit the online evaluation within the time frames specified. 

*Number of NCPD credits subject to change upon presenter availability.

NCPD certificates will delineate Category1  Designated Pharmacotherapeutic Credit Hours earned in addition to NCPD hours awarded for successfully completed conference courses. 

Pharmacotherapeutic Hours
The Contemporary Issues in Palliative Pharmacotherapy mini conference offers Category 1 Designated Pharmacotherapeutic Credit Hours specific to national ANCC and AANP recertification of the NP/CNS, which includes current clinical application of pharmacology across the lifespan, including drug-specific information, safe prescribing practices and information, safe medication administration, prescribing methodologies, new regulations, and/or similar content.
