Webinar: Implicit Bias: Moving Beyond Our Perceptional Lens

February 19, 2020, 3:00-4:00 p.m. EST

The intent of this ANCC accredited activity is to introduce participants to the concept of implicit bias and its negative effect on patient/family outcomes. This learning activity is aimed to provide participants with an opportunity to examine the impact of implicit bias and health care disparities on their patient-provider interactions and patient outcomes for individuals with serious illness. Learners will have the chance to explore strategies and tools for recognizing and reducing/mitigating personal impact bias.
